50% Aragonez and 50% Tinta Barroca
Residual granite and metamorphic sedimentary soils
Intense dark garnet color. Sweet and concentrated wild fruit with soft floral hints. A touch of dark chocolate, vanilla and marzipan. On the palate a little earthy with an idea of canned fruit, very dense, smooth and elegant with an amazing soft and fruity finish.
Hand-picked grapes get chilled down over night and then slowly fermented within 4 weeks in traditional lagars. An extremely careful procedure for the grapes, due to the lack of mechanical influences. Maturation for 12 months in French oak barriques.
This wine should be served within the next two years.
Aromas of vanilla, chocolate, blackcurrant, pleasantly balanced with truffles. On the palate an additional composition of berries and the aroma of chocolate that transforms itself to a slight taste of cassis. In the finish stays a persistent elegant freshness.
A garnet colored wine with intense aromas of heart cherry, a bit of dark chocolate and cedar. On the palate intense fruity, complex and elegant. It´s well structured, full-bodied and have a sustaining finish with a recurrent sweet fruit.
